Coming Out Godless: What's your Story?
Perhaps one of the most moving types of stories are ones of personal experience. The idea here is to encourage atheists and freethinkers to come out, in hopes of normalizing humanism. One thing that propelled the gay community to come out was listening to others' stories. That's the idea here.
I've started a new campaign along the vein of the OUT Campaign, entitled Coming Out Godless.
I will be reposting Coming Out stories. Feel free to send me your story (or a link from your site) so I can repost via comment or send me a message me with the subject "Coming Out Godless".
NOTE: even if you have an i-was-always-an-atheist story, send it my way, too.
